Children’s Sermon Protocols

Last week, ad hoc, Pastor Jon invited the children up to the front of the church for the children’s sermon, for the first time since the start of the pandemic. It was wonderful to interact with the kids. We will continue to invite kids up for the children’s sermon, but in order to be consistent, masks are required for all kids and the pastor/vicar at children’s sermon. We will also practice 3’ physical distancing. We have kid-sized masks available at church.

Middle School Lock-In

Students entering grades 6-8 are invited to our Middle School Lock-In, happening June 26-27! The adventure begins Saturday, June 26 at 7pm, and we’ll finish it all up by attending church together the next morning – in PJs and all! If your child would like to participate, please email Vicar Kellie at We’re also looking for a few awesome parent volunteers! Please let Vicar Kellie know if you are interested or have any questions. Hope to see y’all there!

Changes to In-Person Worship

We are able to loosen some restrictions for in-person worship at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. You will no longer be required to call in and register for services, but instead, we welcome you to come as you are able. This is of course on a trial basis but if it works well, we hope to continue this for the spring and into summer. We may have to add back services if the demand for in-person worship is up.

·        We ask that you still wear masks, physical distance 3 feet, sanitize your hands upon entering, and please sign in at the tables in the entryway.

·        Our Ushers will help ensure you and your family are seated safely and socially distanced.

·        We will also have the nursery/play area open with good ventilation and reduced toys.  We will have busy bags and coloring sheets to go with the lessons available.

Please consider joining us once again for in-person worship. See you at church.
