Our Savior’s Lutheran Church has a Learn and Grow Team that oversees the religious education opportunities for all ages.
Sunday School
Sunday School is a wonderful way to learn different stories in the Bible. Sunday School is open to children ages 3 through grade 5. The curriculum we use is SPARK Lectionary published by Augsburg Fortress.
Confirmation
Confirmation is nothing like it used to be! Our students in grade 6 – 8 start each week in a large group for an overview of the lesson topic with videos, music clips, and a brief discussion with our pastor. Students then move into a small group setting to look at traditional aspects of the faith, while providing opportunities to apply the faith to everyday life. Field trips, servant projects and youth nights are also part of the program.
Adults
Adult Education is generally held on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in the library. This group is great for anyone who wants to grow in their faith, raise questions and get to know other members of the congregation. Each week is intended to be independent from the others, so come when you can and join right in.
Retirees and Friends
This active group of retired members and their friends plan and hold a variety of events throughout the year.
