Visitors – Welcome to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (ELCA)

Thank you for checking us out.  We are a traditional ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) worshipping community in Neenah, WI.  We still have bulletins and sing the liturgy.  We love music in all forms. We have a Chancel Choir and the Joyous Ringers bell choir.  We celebrate communion almost every time we gather.  We celebrate an open communion table in the ELCA.  All are welcome to receive the sacrament.  We love having children in worship and welcome them up for a children’s sermons that connect to the lessons for the week.  During the school year, we have a traditional Sunday School that takes place immediately following worship beginning with children’s music.  Parents, guardians, grandparents, and all others are welcome to stay after church for coffee hour.  Pastor also teaches Bible Study while the kids are in Sunday School.  We teach confirmation for 6th-8th graders on Wednesday nights at 6PM and have youth groups for all ages.

When You Come to Church or Worship Online….

Our hope is that you feel welcome right away.  We care about hospitality.  If you are stepping into the church for the first time in a while, or if you are looking for a new church, or if you have been a long-term member, Pastor Jon loves to say, “Welcome home!”

Don’t worry about what you wear.  If you just got done mowing the lawn on a Saturday afternoon, come to church at 5PM with whatever you have on.  For members and visitors, we have these things called pew pads where you can identify yourselves if you like.  Check a box that applies to you and leave contact information if you want us to follow up.

We are excited to have you worship with us and give thanks that the Holy Spirit is still guiding the church to be relevant in the world and to meet people where they are at.  Come and see!
